Archenerg Cluster in Built4People: representing Hungary in Luxembourg
The Archenerg Cluster has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation and sustainability by joining the Built4People (B4P) initiative through the NEBULA programme, part of the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation funding programme. The cluster participated in a forum at the European Conference Centre in Luxembourg, which was launched in conjunction with Sustainable Places 2024.
The Forum brought together key European players in research and innovation and was of particular importance as it was the first time since the pandemic that it was attended in person. The opening speeches were delivered by Dirk Fransaer, CEO of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, and Massimo Garribba, Deputy Director-General of DG ENER of the European Commission. The event was attended by representatives from several European countries, including Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Finland and Greece, and Hungary was the only country represented by the Archenerg Cluster.
The highlight of the Forum was the signing ceremony of the Built4People Innovation Clusters (B4PIC) Charter. This document aims to strengthen cooperation and promote sustainable building solutions across Europe, while also taking advantage of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative. The Archenerg Cluster is committed to actively contributing to the development of a sustainable built environment and the spread of green innovation.
The long-term goal of the Archenerg Cluster is to actively contribute to the development of a sustainable built environment. Through the NEBULA project, the cluster will participate in the development of the B4P Innovation Cluster Network, promoting the diffusion of innovations, access to business and financial advice and international cooperation.
By joining the Built4People initiative, the Archenerg Cluster will further strengthen its position in the field of sustainable innovation and take an important step towards a people-centred, green building future.
