The National Association of Innovative Clusters (IKOSZ) is an independent non-profit organisation that brings together Hungarian cluster initiatives based on the pooling of knowledge, experience and expertise to strengthen Hungarian competitiveness. Established in 2012 as a result of the cooperation of 9 Hungarian clusters, the organisation aims to bring together entities and individuals, to coordinate cluster policy and to develop clusters in a coordinated and sustainable way, and to bring together cluster policy and cluster entities and individuals. Clusters are particularly needed by small and medium-sized enterprises to give them a better start in competing in their field of expertise in national and international markets.
