International cooperation and sustainable public procurement: successful conference in Brasov

On 23 May, Brasov hosted the final conference of the P2GreenEST cooperation, entitled “Internationalisation and Circular Public Procurement – Opportunities for SMEs”. The aim of the event was to promote the internationalisation of SMEs and to showcase the opportunities for circular public procurement. A large number of experts and companies from Romania, Serbia, Ukraine and Moldova were represented at the event.

The conference was opened by Daniel Cosnita, President of the Romanian Cluster Association, and Cristina Colonna d’Istria, coordinator of the P2GreenEST consortium, also spoke. Throughout the day, there were several presentations and panel discussions on sustainable public procurement, the green transformation of businesses and the challenges of international market access.

The Archenerg Cluster presented its achievements to date and its future goals, with a particular focus on strengthening international relations. The cluster highlighted that it is actively working to expand cooperation with partners in Europe and beyond, with the GREENERG-PRO project, which promotes sustainable green business development in the Middle East and Asia, being an important step in this direction.

The event provided an opportunity for participants to build new relationships, share experiences and discuss concrete cooperation opportunities. At the end of the day, conference participants jointly evaluated the presentations and discussed the potential for further international projects.
