Green innovation and international cooperation – new opportunities for the Archenerg-Metál Cluster

IKOSZ member Archenerg-Metál Klaszter will participate in two major international events in the fall of 2025, strengthening its international relations and the visibility of domestic innovation.

On September 24-25, the Clusters Meet Regions Vaasa 2025 event will take place in Finland, where project manager Ágnes Gonda will represent the cluster.

The central theme of the event is the role of clusters in promoting the green transition, accelerating technological innovation, and increasing the competitiveness of the energy sector. The meeting will showcase the latest projects related to renewable energy, the circular economy, and carbon-neutral industrial practices, with a focus on the role of digital innovation—such as artificial intelligence and automation—in optimizing energy systems.

Following the event in Vaasa in September, the EU-UAE Matchmaking Event will be held in Dubai from October 1 to 3. Tony Kez, Vice President of International Affairs, will represent the cluster at the event.

The event aims to promote cooperation between European clusters, SMEs and partners in the Emirates in sectors such as clean and renewable energy (solar, wind and hydrogen energy, energy storage), energy efficiency, water and waste management, green mobility, smart cities and infrastructure, and the agri-food industry.

The Archenerg-Metál Cluster is thus demonstrating that its members are committed to making the Hungarian industrial and energy sector a recognized player on the international stage.
